Hi Guys,
This is an interesting dialogue. I am new to posting on this forum and really only wanted to alert Packard owners to the recognition and kudos by Hemmings, and perhaps to give folks a talking point to those who are unfamiliar with Packards, especially the youngsters. I think we can all agree that in its day, Packard really was a "muscle car", a term the younger ones will appreciate, and it just might prompt them to learn more about them.

As a point of clarification, Hemmings only compared total horsepower, not horsepower to weight ratios, or top speed, etc. Anyway, I'm glad you guys found it interesting enough to post replies.
