I had the same problem. I resolved it by removing the tank, injecting carburetor cleaner (the kind that comes in a gallon can for soaking) in the tube, and alternating between a coat hanger and compressed air. Finally, a plug of goo popped out of the tube into the tank.

Be patient- it may take some soaking.
