speedometer repairs

The speedometer on the 51 200 has been going downhill for several years. I've lubed it with graphic to correct the bouncing, which helped some in the past. Last week when I pulled it out again, I noticed the brass bushing at the rear where the cable goes in is very loose and wobbly. After cleaning and oiling it with neatsfoot oil, it is less bouncy and is relatively accurate to 38 mph or so (checking it against the GPS on the dash), but it reads 40 mph at 65 mph. So I guess it's time to have it rebuilt. Any suggestions as to good vendors? I considered taking it to one of the local shops, but since the unit is older than most of the mechanics, I'm a bit reluctant to do that. thanks.
