I would be interested in that question and some details as well. The factory unit appears to be vacuum operated yet the Clipper wipers were electric. For those in the know, how is the washer controlled?

46 deluxe, I remember you found an extra button under the dash in your car but was it for something electric or vacuum? If vacuum, that 3 hole grommet would make sense -- 2 hoses for vacuum to and from button and one for the water line.

EDIT: Found a washer labeled as a GM version on ebay. Said used from 1941-51 & I'd bet it would be very similar if not the same as that Packard used. The button showing looks a lot like what I could see of the one under your dash.
