Again, not sure what to say. My engines were set up per manual as far as I know -- by different mechanics - this car and a 56 Patrician I had earlier -- and they didn't report any problems. The second mechanic used factory piston clearances on this car which caused a problem with Egge pistons but didn't have any issues with the timing.
