You could also use the 4L60 which is the non electronic version of the 4L60E. I have a 4T60E (transverse version of the 4L60E) tranny in my quite modified Fiero- 300HP and 300 ft-lbs and it works quite well. The 4L60(E) is a 4 sp with lock up torque convertor.
