Re: J6065 Tool

Anyone who thinks the factory-approved tool is inferior must have never used one (or a reasonable facsimile thereof).

I purchased two repros from Bob Berg, back in the late 1980s. They worked just fine, but after I expressed disappointment that his initial interpretation lacked a handle on the clevis/clamp as original, he sent me a pair (to weld on, locally). Subsequent runs included that handle in the assembly. I also purchased a third tool to help meet the minimum required for his last run, several years ago.

It is child's play to install and remove this tool - compared to diddling around with chain.

As I recall, the end of the tool fits the frame pocket nicely.
