Years ago I lived in a little town in Northern California called Quincy and while there, I came on a bunch of interesting cars; but one really caught my attention and to this day I feel like it was a big fish that got away.

The car in question was a 1955 Hudson Hornet Hollywood coupe. Under the hood was a genuine Packard V-8 (though I don't recall the displacement) and it had an automatic transmission (which might have been an Ultramatic), a Kelvinator Weathereye venting system, and a real Hudson continental kit. It was a two-tone white and black -- a hell of a car, though it hadn't run in years.

My point is, Hudson was using a lot of pieces from other makers, including Packard and Nash. So anything is possible.
