Burned up high range clutch

This is from a 55 cribb.. Can't believe people ..

This was rebuilt. To me someone who didn't know ultramatics . they didn't even remove the metering plug.

The manual shift was put on backwards. Hate to see inside torque converter.

To me. Dump the 55. And put in a 56.

The band strut..left to float around. The parking lever the roller doesn't roll.

The trans did have the clunk ..getting out of park..

Then the shift valve came out. Cause no stop.

The band adjusting bolt was rusted.stuck. So can't see how bands were holding.

The don't look worn.
