So I understand that the best repair technique is not the cut any wires, I agree, Peter Toet My PB 56 Patrician can get it's knickers in a twist if the voltage is low or persons have wired up the relays incorrectly. It almost killed me as i laid over the guard and started the car remotely under the bonnet, in High on choke when I first got it. I fortunately had a dead man's grip on the coil wire to the distributor and it only got halfway across the road before it disconnected. Be very careful of the PB if you are going to work on it.
