Is the Oldsmobile oil pump the only solution or is it an other ?
I we change the hydraulic tappets ?
I sold over 60 Olds oil pump adapter kits before I turned production and sales of it over to Jack Vines. I had 100% satisfaction (a lot of feedback) in correcting low oil pressure and severe tappet noise problems.
It's not an expensive solution either compared to new tappets or an engine overhaul -- once you get the oil pan off (itself a PITA).
