1956 Packard Clipper 2dr Hardtop

Hi all,
Yesterday I had acquired a 1956 Packard Clipper Custom 2 door hardtop for the modest price of $5,000. The car has all exterior parts on as of right now; however, the current paint shines, but has minor scratches. The chrome is still shiny, but the trim above the grill and the side trim could use work. The interior was done very nicely; but needs to go back into the car. Was $5,000 a high price for this car?
