55-56 gas tank hose ??????

can someone verify whether or not there is a hose at the gas tank between the sending unit and the main fuel line???

NO. NOT the vent hose. I'm talking about any hose or other flexible coupling that might be in the fuel feed line between the tank sending unit and the main fuel line at the rear of the car.
