Ill see if I can get to my crank with my 352 that is on a stand and get some bearing measurements.

I would find it Highly unlikely that Packard had a proprietary bearing being manufactured solely for their V8 platform. If so, then they would not be made available after the fact to "specialist" to peddle a couple a year. The amount of having "special" bearing made would not be cost effective for the small amount of Packard repairs going on a year. Just sayin, to many years in bearing industry and Automotive to buy that.

Is it an odd ball? most likely it is hence the hard time finding readily available.
