An excellent reminder, Randy. Back when these cars were just cheap transportation in the hands of 3rd and 4th and subsequent owners they probably got minimal attention to such details, leaving later owners to content with the problems associated with lack of attention. I try once a year to pick up the oil can or a dab of grease and do these often-ignored chores; some might only require attention once or twice in a lifetime. Obviously the generator and starter oilers (including the nearly hidden gear oiler on the 356 starters), distributor shaft oiler, water pump oilers or grease cups on early cars, etc. Here's some others and I'm sure others will add to the list:

-Felt wick under the distributor rotor
-Distributor centrifugal advance pivots
-Hood and trunk pivot joints & latch
-Door latch star wheels
-Hood latch
-Door check straps
-Parking brake pivots
-Convertible top pivots
-Speedometer head and cables
-Mechanical brake cables & linkages
-Door lock cylinders (graphite)

Back to door hinges for a moment, owners of 34-36 "senior" cars may not be familiar with the door hinge lubrication method, so I'll attach this from the Service Letters.
