Anyone know if the diameter or length of the hydraulic ram or the cylinder portion was the same over the years? A slight difference in either would affect the feel. Just wondering if they might have played around with changes in that area along with the power unit with the P-1, 2, 3, 4, designations. If a new ram or cylinder was installed during a rebuild that might explain a difference.
