Thanks for all the tips and tire measurements. I will have to order a set in 235/75/15.

On the adjustable bars, I guess I am just too dumb as I can't find any grooves or rings, or how to adjust them. Here is a pic, in case somebody can tell me if I have the correct part there or if perhaps it was changed.
