Used copper gasket..on the torque.. My recall is the steel gaskets don't need it..i never had a problem.

I strongly believe. The heads..cause valve guy surfaced them.

Not much left. There is not that much as it is ..

I will most likely take the heads off my parts car.

My heads have harden seats so it sucks..700 bucks proof.

Also . unless the water pump manifold is loose. You can't get the same torque on all bolts.

Last time cause it was seeping into valve train. Torqued them up to 70 lbs. It helped..but it blew awhile later.

I think the damage is done. Torquing? Don't think will help.

I torque 56.or 58 lbs..book 55.60.
