I looked into the electric pump from Summitt a few days ago and they're about $250 when all done. More than I would spend just for wipers. I have a 12v tire compressor which might be able to be replumbed. Have done that on a couple of regular compressors that I used when I did my own AC work a while back so that was the way I was leaning if the consensus says a second source is a good idea.
