Good question Don 
The car still has its original fuel line on it.
The fuel pump was bypassed because if the engine fuel pump fails when you have a fuel pump running in the fuel tank, then you'll shoot gas into the oil pan.
And the carb is not original so the fuel port is in a different place.
Probably I could use 2 short repair kits and keep the original line. I need to look again and see how the bypass was ran.
