There is a fitting that goes into the inlet at carb.

Some have a small filer in it.

The fitting has an 1/8 pipe thread.

Check parts book diagram..

You just need the line from carb.

And the carter filter

1/8 pipe nipple goes in to carb fitting.

And carter filter uses a 90 degree elbow.
1/8 pipe to 5/16 inverted flare.
