You need to remove the kick panels behind which you will find a vertical row of "arrowheads". The windlace slips under these and they are then bent over to secure the windlace. There is a 5/16-24 bolt on each side that holds the bottom of the dash to the body. You may have to remove that to allow you to tuck the windlace in where the dash meets the body. Leave enough stock at the bottom to fit snugly in the scuff plate at the end where it curves up. Memory says you also need to remove the windshield side chrome trim. The windlace that fits up there has leather pieces sewn to it to enable that side chrome to get a good hold on it. Did you save the old windlace so that you can reuse those leather pieces? If I can I will go up to the other garage tomorrow and take some pics.
