I have not had a chance to check the brake fluid level since the incident. I will do so and report back with the results. I also need to check for any leaks (MC, wheel cyls, etc.). I do know that the mechanic that filled the reservoir did so with DOT 3 fluid.
It's a little unsettling to drive thinking that the brakes could fail at any moment.
