I sincerely admire the knowledge and willingness to help in this group. I thank you all for it.

I have to apologize if it seems I am going against the opinion of most of you, which I agree is the correct one: I mentioned the black color in the inner fenders on the scottish heather cars just as a curiosity and coincidence between the two cars pictured and my car, as after all what has been said and the observations on the real original and untouched cars, it is pretty clear that they should be body color.

The heater hoses should be black apparently. One additional question is the type of hose clamps. Are they supposed to be the wire type, as some of them show?

One additonal question comes to mind: The spark plug wire separators. I noticed in the pics I have and in the ones posted by mlgrimes, that there are two types, one much smaller, held by one screw to the valve covers, with some rubberized cover at the end where the four wires are held, and another, much bigger, with a sort of independent grommet for each cable. Were cars supplied both ways from factory? Is it an early vs. late thing?
