I don't know where you get your info, but it is not correct.
Under 3.202, part 458421 is the transmission case for the tranny used with OD. 3.148 lists the throwout bearing and sleeve for 5540-60 and all 56th models. 3.201 lists TRANSMISIION and OVERDRIVE ASSEMBLY for 5540-60 AND ALL 56TH.
Why do you suppose they list all these parts? I don't mean to sound sarcastic but a little reading would uncover those facts.
