Hi, I too have a problem with the transmission of my 55 400. It slips when cold then after warming up is OK. I also have a slight leak though not sure where it is coming from. I am currently running Dexron II and after reading this thread I am thinking of draining it cleaning the filter and trying a fill of B & M trick shifter, do you think this may cure this problem..? Has anybody on the forum tried Lucas transmission fix..? it is supposed to cure leaks and help slipping transmissions but I haven't heard any reports as to if it works or not.
