Howard,
My brake pedal mod was a hurried, on-the-spot fabrication, as I wanted to use my original 56 Exec's brake pedal, as did Craig. My fabricated bracket lowered the pedal quite a bit. I attempted to make the pedal mods, but once installed, the pedal hit the carpet before engaging the brakes.
I used a pedal from a 51-54 Packard model instead. My quickly fabricated pedal has about a 5.5:1 ratio and engages the brakes in .75" travel (less than 1"). It is also pretty sensitive, more so than the BTV. Might this be a result of using a dual diaphrgmed booster?
