Removing the top of the senior dash.....

Windshield is being lined up by insurance folks. Talked to the shop and they are willing to redo the padded dash halfway reasonably while the windshield is out.

My neighbor tells me the top of the dash unbolts and can be removed. Does anyone have pictures of this undertaking? How hard is it? What are the tricks to be concerned with/about?

Tips? Prudent advice? Regular advice? Speculative advice?
