I have a local sleuth (amateur historian) friend of mine engaged in the pursuit via Ancestry.com BUT we didn't think of Zaba search. I remain appreciative of the thoughts you all provided. We are hoping that the original buyers were people of some means and thus maybe there are records of them in that community or vicinity so long ago. I constantly look for 400 serial numbers when I scan for sale notices etc. Maybe this car is still alive somewhere ....... just maybe!
