It is. Here is an excerpt from Craig's original instructions. If Jack has any different instructions for his kits, maybe he could post them.

You need to modify:
Grind slightly at corner shown on attached JPG, if necessary.
Cut off approx 1-1/2 of dipstick tube (interferes with Olds pickup)
