how did you bypass the resistor on the firewall. did you just connect the two wires together.

i know it has to be bypassed as the pertronix coil is internally 1.5ohm resisted already, therefore there is no need for the one on the firewall.

just curious as to how you wired it up.

same part number for 55 except the 12v POS version (1183P12 or something, can't remember), but in Kevin's car, he converted to NEG ground, so he uses 1183 like you.
