Packard factory tooling.

Hello to all,
New to the forum but 40 years a machinist.
As such, I'm always on the look out for tooling and measuring devices.
I recently ran across a small Starrett gauge/indicator? that has me stumped.
In addition to the "The L. S. Starrett Co." markings, it's also marked "Prop. Packard Motor Car Co.".
Does anyone here have any idea as to use, interest, value?
