My Rifle instructor in High school was a Captain on a PT Boat in the South Pacific. He use to talk once in a while about the Boat an the Crew. He also would make the comment about the "Big Packard V12 engines and how the Motor man would always remind him, "Give them time to warm, before you go, full bore with my motors Cap." Mr Enterline saw a lot of action, and Talked about how General MacArthur was "whisked away" on a PT Boat.
