I have my doubts that a leather headliner would be very practical. For one thing, it would be pretty heavy and I'm not sure how well it'd keep it's shape.
After making allowances for 58 years, the color of mine is a spot on match for the leather. Personally, my Packard is the first car I've seen with the leather being a far lighter color than the fabric.
