Have you ever seen a Ford with three Packard engines? And, to top it all off, three Packard diesel engines?

Original ImageFord 11-AT-1 Trimotor, 1930, with 3 Packard 225-hp DR-980 diesel engines.

How about a Packard "Pacemaker"? Packard driven hydroplanes, flying boats, ... go this way for the story, chronicling the days, when Packard employed pilots and even a chief test pilot.
