There are various notifications you can "subscribe" to on the forum here. One of those is to get a notification on every new post. If you do that, you will get messages 24/7. I suggest you leave that off, and only subscribe to specific threads/posts you want to track.

For example, I ONLY subscribe to posts that are made on my Project Blog. thread.
