That is the idea. The carb switch will still be functional and the PB would also be functional. If you do want to totally eliminate the carb switch then you would need to remove the wires from carb switch and splice them to the PB wires.

There may be enough room to run the wires or extra loom cover thru the opening in front of the driver where the main loom exits although it might be a tight squeeze. There should also be some room in the opening at the upper corner of the hump where the speedo cable, temp gauge, and OD cable pass thru.
