Trying to Confirm/Locate other living Packard dealers

Hello, all;

'New to the Packard Forum, old to the Packard (and collector-car) hobby.

I am trying to confirm if my father, Lumir S. Palma, is the oldest, possibly the only, living Packard dealer.

He and his brother Milton signed their Franchise Agreement with Packard Motor Car Company in June 1953 and went into business as Palma Motors, Paris IL. They went out of business August 1, 1956. I have the original copies of their Franchise Agreement.

Milton passed away December 30, 1994. Dad is alive and doing well at age 97 years and 3 months at this writing.

Are there any other known, living, Packard dealers? This would be defined as men (or women?) who actually signed a Franchise Agreement with Packard Motor Car Company or Studebaker-Packard Corporation, to sell and service Packard automobiles.

Thanks for any information.

Bob Palma
