Packard Proving Grounds - 2014 Summary

Happy New Year to All:
From time to time I post comments here on PackardInfo.com, but what you may not know is that I am also involved with the Packard Motor Car Foundation (PMCF). This is the non-profit 501c(3) organization that is working to preserve and restore the Packard Proving Grounds (PPG). Our plan is to create an educational venue that explains the history of the Packard motorcar, the accomplishments of the people and the contributions made to build the Arsenal of Democracy during WWII.
Recently, the Foundation sent out a letter to our current donors summarizing the activities during 2014 and explaining our goals for 2015. I have attached a copy of that letter for your review.
This month the PMCF started a membership program called the Friends of the Packard Proving Grounds. This is another form of financial assistance to help fund the projects we need to complete in 2015. A copy of the membership enrollment card is also attached for your review. Please print off a copy and send it along with your dues to the address shown.
As you can see in the Summary Letter, we rely on donations to continue our work at the PPG. So many times I hear "..Somebody ought to do something about that.." Well, now is your chance to do something. You can become an annual member, you can make a direct donation and you can work directly as a volunteer at the PPG. When making a direct donation please use the same address as shown on the enrollment card.
If you choose to make a direct donation, then you should know that your donation is tax deductible on the federal form and MAY also be deductible on the State form - check with you tax advisor.
