All of you know the work of Edgar Rice Burroughs but who was he? Wikipedia explains:

"Edgar Rice Burroughs (September 1, 1875 - March 19, 1950) was an American writer best known for his creations of the jungle hero Tarzan and the heroic Mars adventurer John Carter, although he produced works in many genres."

Original Imagethe writer and a kind of dictaphone

I like to rake over old coals. ERB searched a long time for his place in life. He was railway policeman, door-to-door salesman, an accountant, the manager for a clerical department, peddler for a quack alcoholism cure and a pencil sharpener wholesaler at the age of 36. -> This way, please, for reading his "Bio".
