Re: Can I fit in a 29/30 phaeton or 7 pass. touring?

From my experience with Twenties, Thirties Packard 7 Passenger vehicles that I own. The front seat is not-adjustable and was designed for someone around 5 foot 6 to 5 foot eight. I am 6 foot and have no difficulty operating the vehicle. For RHD you have to wiggle your foot around the locomotive handbrake to get in, although it is much easier than a P11 Rolls where the gearshift and handbrake is in the way. Your seeking of a "see if I can fit" is an extremely wise move. I would add that you should be able to drive the car once you get used to sitting a bit to one side, however, once you have been behind the wheel for a few hours you should use the hand throttle and move your butt around a bit. BTW...thanks for Asking the Man Who Own's One. Best Regards, Peter Toet.
