If you have a MAC the format conversion can be done with built in iPhoto or Preview.
If you have Windows there may be a built in imaging program that can do the job. I'm not that familiar with Windows anymore so if nothing built in there is a free program called Irfanviewhttp://www.irfanview.com That program can be used to convert many formats as well as reduce file size and do other functions. Png to jpg is one of the formats it can handle.

EDIT - A number of pre-war Packards in the photos including a '40 with, I think I remember, the fender light lens cdn was after!
