If this show is another of those ubiquitous "car guy" programs where Joe Sixpaks throw wrenches at one another and solve everything by dropping in a Chevy V-8 and TurboHydraMatic, this is a major step toward adulthood for them.
However, it also underscores that Rabble Beach is strictly a pay to play tournament of credit lines. Ironically, these days, class, understatement, gentility are in inverse proportion to the number of times the word "Classic" is used.

Oh, that's right. Rabble Beach contestants are no longer trailer queens because they're, get this, driven the day before on a private two-lane road at 45 mph. Genuine car buffs, doncha know. And on the judging field, their coveralled man at the ready to open the hood lest the owner sully his hands with wax.
