Thanks for the photos of a rare pairing, probably not seen since they were still at the factory. One wonders why the Caribbean and Convertible wasn't also included in the model availability.
If management wished to utilize a magenta-purple-violet range color, they could have done worse that emulate the Royal Purple Chrysler applied to its '53 Coronation Imperial.
