Interesting to see all the wood structure. I had a 39 Cadillac 60 Special and it had heavy duty wooden planks on each side of the frame on which the body was fastened. The body was all steel. My 37 Six Convertible Coupe has all steel doors. They were made by Budd. Car builders of that time were still using wood in some of the body structure while moving to all steel bodies.
