Let's have a look at the company building of the Packard Agency Adelaide in 1926. Try to find the gas pump in the picture.
Backside inscription of the below shown image:
A decorative tram wire support with its criss-crossed wires silhouetted against the sky gives interest to this view of the Packard agency. On the left is Wallman & Sons, Undertakers. See B 1754 and B 1091 for earlier views of this site. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 277 / South east corner of Flinders and Pulteney Streets / May 13, 1926 / Additional shop fronts installed on both sides of the Packard Agency in 1929. / Pulteney Street frontage of Packard Agency: 27 1/2 yards; Flinders Street frontage: 18 yards'. Today the building is gone but with a repair shop and a tire service the location still is connected to the car business.
