Hi
"An extraordinary piece of coachwork" indeed! Its a 1932 Deluxe Eight 903 with a Hibbard and Darrin masterpiece. As noted by the caption, it embodies all of Darrin's visual devices and details to render maximum impact, which it delivers in spades.
The photo of its marvelous profile was printed the article titled
"Insight Into Fernandez and Darrin" by Edward J. Blend, in the
Antique Automobile, Official Publication of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA), March-April 1988, Vol.52, No. 2, page 6.
