Cars sitting really benefit from having jack stands under the frame to unload the unsprung parts - read tires and suspension.

From the factory cars are shipped with tires inflated to the maximum sidewall pressure to mitigate belt separation and flat spots from sitting.

Of course that is not a good idea for old cars with tubes and/or snap rings. I've seen snap rings fly across the room due to rim splitting. I always put safety straps around snap ring wheels to avoid decapitation.

I have a set of topline Goodyear on my modern car and they are the best tires I've had. They ride well and only need attention twice per year. I put air in for winter temperatures and let air out for the summer. I use a hand pump to avoid whatever crap might be in a compressor system.
