Have you opened the back of the radio to see if there is a diagram pasted on the cover. Many radios did this. If nothing there, can you find a manufacturer and their chassis number such as P-xxxx as used by Philco who supplied a lot of Packards radios. Motorola and maybe Delco also supplied some prewar units but their chassis number system is most likely different. This number is not to be confused with Packards PA-xxxxxx accessory or option number as is on the outside label in the radio above. If you can find a brand and mfg number you might be able to find a diagram for download in the Resources section at Nostalgia AIr.http://www.nostalgiaair.org

If nothing at Nostalgia then there are vendors such as AG Tannenbaumhttp://www.agtannenbaum.com who might have and still sell photocopies of factory diagrams and/or aftermarket service info. They will also need the manufacturer and the chassis number and sometimes the PA number. Tannenbaum's website home page apparently has not been updated in almost 10 years but it is active so they may still be in business.
