So... is it a 1949 22nd Series or a 1949 23rd Series Custom Eight Packard? This is going to make a difference in parts. Also, the 23rd Series Custom came with the brand new Ultramatic transmission as standard equipment, the 22nd series would be manual.
I have one of each.
